JetBlue Restructures Fare Tiers Ahead of Domestic First-Class Launch

The airline is organizing its fleet into three distinct categories: standard economy, the extra-legroom Even More tier—which grants priority screening and early boarding—and the upcoming BlueFirst domestic cabin. Within these classes, passengers must choose between Base, Standard, and Flex pricing models.

The Base fare serves as the entry-level option, allowing a carry-on but stripping away seat selection privileges. While these tickets offer travel credit for cancellations, changes incur additional fees, and loyalty accumulation is limited to one TrueBlue point per dollar. Conversely, the Standard tier removes change fees and triples the point-earning rate, while the Flex option provides the added security of full refunds to the original payment method.
